Americas

In the United States, TikTok LIVE was used to launch "Wish or Treat", led by LIVE user Heather (@savagemomlife). Over three days, creators dressed up in their Halloween costumes on LIVE to raise money for Make-a-Wish, a nonprofit that grants the wishes of critically ill children. Over $60K was raised, and TikTok formed a lasting connection with the Make-a-Wish Foundation.

Europe

Children in Need raises money for disadvantaged children across the UK with the help of its official mascot, Pudsey. In 2023, TikTok LIVE teamed up with the BBC to reach new audiences. Users sent six unique Pudsey gifts to creators, with TikTok making a donation to Children in Need for each one. Over £500K was raised over the course of the campaign. "It's more than a partnership," said Children in Need campaign manager Olivia Taylor. "It's a testament to the power of community.”

Asia

TikTok LIVE supported communities in Japan through Local Love. Focusing on disaster-affected areas including Okinawa and Hiroshima, users made donations during livestream performances by musicians and TikTok creators. The funds raised surpassed goals, fostered community, and raised awareness for reconstruction aid.
